What You’ll Do

In sum, the business unit you will work within at Encortex builds consumer brands by trafficking quality content. We pride ourselves on developing relevant material that is delivered timely to the correct audience. As a Marketing Manager, Social Media reporting to the General Manager of Channel Operations, you will be responsible for implementing social media strategy, developing brand awareness and generating inbound traffic.  This is a soup to nuts roll and will encompass all aspects of social media promotion in order to bring images, videos and copy together into compelling content.

Your responsibilities will include 

  • Increasing in engagement on each platform month over month
  • Increasing followers on each page month over month
  • Increasing website traffic from organic social promotion
  • Demonstrating to others through data how social media efforts are increasing web traffic
  • Creating and optimizing social media profiles, creating and managing regular posts, responding to followers, and assisting on WordPress backend to share website content

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in a social media market/content creation role
  • You have experience in building a community by engaging and starting conversations in the appropriate venues
  • Good judgment and excellent online etiquette is a must
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of marketing, communications and/or design
  • You pride yourself on discovering the latest trends and emerging platforms
  • Internet savvy with demonstrated use of platforms like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.
  • Graphic Design skills or experience with Adobe Creative Suite are a plus
