Summary: Partners consistently drive over 50% of new business for Acquia. As Senior Partner Marketing Specialist, this individual will play a critical role in planning and executing Acquia’s Partner Marketing initiatives, ensuring continued growth and success of our partner channel. The ideal candidate understands how partners impact Acquia’s business objectives and results, and is an effective hands-on executor, a skilled project manager, and a creative problem solver.
Reporting to the Director of Partner Marketing, this individual will prioritize partner-facing communications and relationship-building with internal subject matter experts to enhance partner demand generation and co-marketing activities globally. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to produce high-quality results, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program management: learn Acquia’s business and product ecosystem, and learn and understand Acquia’s partner network. Contribute to the development of the Partner Marketing function and own implementation of compelling initiatives to achieve global partner-sourced pipeline and bookings targets and maximize partner marketing ROI.
- Marketing with partners: lead strategic co-marketing campaigns and initiatives with Acquia’s partners to drive top-of-funnel demand. Examples include working with Acquia’s editorial and PR teams to produce press releases, co-authored blog posts, and presentation content for webinars and live events.
- Marketing to partners: working with Acquia Channel Managers and cross-functional internal teams, build and deliver programs that inform and educate Acquia partners. Examples include newsletters, emails, video and in-person meetings with partners.
- Enablement: working with Partner Enablement team members, design & deliver content, materials, externally facing presentations and trainings to ensure partners can successfully sell, position, and deliver Acquia products.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience at a technology company with direct or complementary involvement with partners and/or partner marketing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities; comfortable working both as part of a high-performing, diverse team and as an independent performer
- Ability to analyze and prepare recommendations on sales and marketing performance for a wide variety of audiences
- Exceptional attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multitask while driving results
- Strong written, oral, and cross-functional communication skills
- Perform work with (internal and external) partner satisfaction in mind, while not compromising the integrity of the work
- Ability to analyze and prepare recommendations on sales and marketing performance for a wide variety of audiences
- Events experience a plus: ability to identify and help create in-person or virtual experiences, designing an agenda and promotional messaging and assisting with the execution of the program.
- Experience managing or coordinating webinars is a plus.
- Experience with marketing technologies like CRM, CMS, email or marketing automation tools also a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications or related discipline
- Positive, outgoing nature with a great sense of humor
- Ability to travel, as required
