About the Role:
Klaviyo is looking for a world-class Partner Marketing leader to drive Company efforts to build and execute a strategy to market to, through and with our broad ecosystem of partners to support Company sales and marketing objectives.
This individual will build and lead a team of high-performing partner marketing professionals to develop, execute, and measure campaigns and programs that accelerate partner engagement, demand generation, pipeline creation and revenue across a range of partners, including marketing agencies, systems integrators, ISV/Apps, and eCommerce platforms. In addition to managing a team, this leader will collaborate closely with the global Partnerships organization, the extended marketing team, Sales, and other key stakeholders in the US and globally. This role will promote awareness and excitement among partners of the benefits of growing their businesses alongside Klaviyo–creating win-win value propositions.
How you’ll have impact:
Marketing responsibilities will include the proactive development and execution of programs and tactics that evangelize Klaviyo’s business proposition to partners. This role will work with the Partnerships team, other colleagues, and directly with partners to build the strategy, define the plan, messaging, content and amplification methods to ensure Klaviyo partners deeply understand how to build a profitable business with Klaviyo.
Marketing responsibilities will include building and executing demand generation programs, (including scaling a Marketing Development Funds initiative), content creation/amplification efforts, and events that effectively drive Klaviyo sales and marketing objectives.
- Create and drive partner marketing strategy to enable Klaviyo’s efforts to build a highly effectively partner ecosystem
- Lead and drive field execution across all partner marketing channels
- Align partner marketing efforts across Partnerships leadership and the broader marketing organization
- Own and drive partner marketing development funds strategy, planning and execution
- Drive ongoing communications with partners through newsletters, social, and other channels
- Continually assess Partner/Field needs and requirements to build new marketing programs
- Set goals, guidelines, and success metrics
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop process and infrastructure
- Design and implement measurements to quantify ROI from partner marketing programs/campaigns, promotion campaigns and co-marketing activities with our strategic partners
- Work closely with the cross functional marketing team to leverage and create sales and marketing collateral and tools that enable our partners to successfully market Klaviyo’s products and generate new pipeline and sales acceleration opportunities with our customer
- Innovate, take risks and drive new ways to connect with our partners, sales and our ecosystem partners that will accelerate growth and profitability.
- Evangelize and champion our Partner vision, mission, purpose internally and externally·
What We Would Love to See:
- Proven track record of leading a team and managing successful, creative, and scalable marketing programs at high growth companies.
- Insightful understanding of top business drivers. Ability to drive strategy and influence change while at the same time being the hands-on execution arm to “make things happen”.
- Fresh thinker – able to create strategy that meets Klaviyo’s unique needs.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills. High degree of comfort to craft original content.
- Advocate to and work closely with global marketing teams to prioritize and produce content, assets, references and other materials.
- 10+ years of demonstrated channel and/or field marketing experience with a SaaS/ technology company
- Passion for partners and field engagement
- Influence and negotiation skills
- Excellent listening and responding skills, communication skills, strategic focus, executive presence, and customer empathy
