Who you are
You are an action-oriented and problem-solving strategist with such excitement that you demonstrate your high-level experience of the digital retail media space to drive results. You are well-versed in industry standard tools and know the technical skills and strategic mindset needed for your own success in this role. You show self-motivation, enthusiasm, resilience, flexibility, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. This position also needs you to be an analytical and logical thinker with the conviction to meet problems head-on and solve them accurately and quickly.
The role will require you to help drive both revenue for Drizly and also performance for our advertising partners. You will work very closely with our partners to understand how to optimize their campaigns and problem-solving with them to figure out the best course of action that will get the results they are looking for.
You look forward to providing examples of how you have worked on optimizing the revenue and performance of a performance marketing platform and how you found the right balance between revenue for the company and performance for partners.
What the role is
The Sr. Ad Ops Strategist is critical to the growth and sustainability of the programmatic and auction-bid advertising placements that we sell using CitrusAd as our white label service. Revenue from our programmatic advertising onsite is rapidly growing and we need to make sure it is being optimized for us and for our suppliers. Suppliers also need a partner within Drizly, such as yourself, that is able to focus on their programmatic campaign performance.
This role will be responsible for optimizing a performance marketing platform and finding the right balance between revenue for the company and performance for our partners. You should be analytical and able to effectively communicate strategy and analysis to our alcohol brand partners and other third parties.
In this role you will:
- Drive the growth and expansion of Drizly’s onsite programmatic advertising business
- Understand bidding best practices for Citrus; provide recommendations at the industry/category level as well as the partner level on how to best optimize campaigns on Drizly
- Monitor and optimize multiple paid campaign executions to ensure campaigns are delivering on schedule and to client KPI expectations
- Review ad performance relative to campaign objectives to provide and execute optimization recommendations
- Monitor performance of all programmatic placements on Drizly platform and inform strategy on how to optimize platform and grow revenue
