ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking a passionate and creative leader to develop, own and execute our Product Marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the SVP of Marketing, the right candidate will have autonomy to envision and build out a global Product Marketing function. Championing the voice of the customer, this role presents an exciting opportunity to evangelize and shape the eCommerce industry’s leading optimization layer for seller growth on the world’s most valuable marketplaces.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Equipped with knowledge of our eCommerce Marketing personas, refine how we position ourselves in the market
  • Collaborating closely with our Product Team, research, curate and create content about the market landscape, our products and ideal buyer pain points
  • Take the industry-leading features of our AI-powered optimization platform and translate them into value propositions that resonate with our target customer
  • Armed with the ability to distill complex software capabilities into benefit statements, deliver messaging in verbal and written form that wins over our prospects, customers and partners alike 
  • Own GTM product and feature launches, using content creation, project management and diplomacy across departments to achieve higher levels of customer acquisition; upsell and cross-sell pipeline; and product adoption
  • Collaborate with Product and Support Teams to optimize conversion funnels

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5-10 years experience leading Product Marketing for a hyper-growth B2B SaaS company
  • 2+ years management experience
  • Enthusiasm, creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit–a love for stretching one’s abilities to get the job done
  • A passion for storytelling and an ease with wordsmithing and public speaking
  • Ability to inspire and persuade internal and external stakeholders alike
  • Passion for writing about products across mediums, whether in demo scripts, case study videos, blogs or feature taglines
  • Outstanding presentation creation and delivery
  • Vision of how several product releases could be packaged into inspiring and digestible external-facing launches, newsletters or press releases
  • Curiosity to discover customer insights that create new ways to position our value
  • An ear to trending tech topics that should impact our positioning
  • Past ownership of messaging frameworks that bridge corporate, category and product-level statements
  • A mindset of continual experimentation to achieve incremental improvements that add up to big results over time
  • Ability to convey differentiators in contrast with specific competitors
  • Desire to collaborate with Paid Media colleagues to define and refine keyword groupings
  • Attention to detail as evidenced in production of FAQs or Help Center material
  • A history of conducting research to determine customer needs and attitudes
  • Track record of close collaboration with Product, Creative, Sales and Demand Generation teams to identify opportunities and surmount GTM obstacles

WHAT CAN HELP YOU STAND OUT

  • Knowledge of the third-party seller and marketplace ecosystem
  • Experience demoing products live on stage or one-on-one to customers
  • Past support of big deals with custom content
  • Relationships with analysts in the ecommerce space
  • Expertise in creation of pricing and product bundles
  • A history of successful conversion rate optimization projects that improved funnel performance
  • Past ownership of sensitive customer communications (product deprecations, price increases, or security breaches) that minimized churn
