The Marketing & Brand Designer position plays a crucial role in bringing the Bullhorn visual brand to life, infusing corporate communications with emotional expression, and creating beautifully branded, compelling materials across digital channels, video, events, print, presentations, environmental design, and more.
A typical day might include:
- Creating and designing beautifully branded, effective marketing materials for web, social, email, events, print, and video
- Collaborating with other designers, the web team, videographers, and creative marketers
- Developing both templated and original creative design concepts within brand guidelines
- Manage and prioritize a workload of multiple projects from concept through execution
- Distilling key decisions and discussions and translating them into a compelling visual message.
- Making custom illustrations, icons, logos, and other design assets for Bullhorn brand extensions, products, and sub-brands.
This role may be a fit for you if you:
- Have 2-3 years of experience working in design environments with formal design or visual arts training. (BFA or MFA)
- Have outstanding technical skills in the Adobe Creative Suite products (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
- A strong visual aesthetic and proven expertise in design principles such as typography, color, balance, negative space, etc.
- Are creatively restless, like to experiment, and learn new things
- Like to take ownership of your work and continuously strive for improvement.
- Are an effective communicator and able to articulate your design thinking with other designers and internal clients
- Have an excellent grasp of current creative and design trends.
- Like to laugh and have fun
Bonus points for:
- Having video or motion graphic experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- HTML or front-end web development experience
