DraftKings, the world’s leading Daily Fantasy Sports provider, is developing new gaming verticals to diversify our portfolio. As the Manager, Gaming Promotions & Marketing you will play a key role in defining the promotions and marketing strategy for our new gaming product. You will plan and coordinate promotions and new feature releases, ensuring the DraftKings gaming offerings are best in class in the US market and beyond. You will regularly work with cross functional teams to launch and optimize promotions and new product features including acquisition, CRM, social marketing and VIP.
The Manager, Gaming Promotions & Marketing is a key role within the DraftKings gaming organization, championing the product offerings and serving as a crucial intermediary between the gaming customer and the wider business. This is a unique opportunity to help shape DraftKings’ new gaming strategy before launch.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage content and promotions with marketing teams that maximize customer acquisition and conversion efforts, ensuring best in class consumer offerings. Ensure that our product attracts, engages, and retains DraftKings customers at all times
- Work closely with the Gaming Marketing Analyst to allow data driven decisions on new product and site features, promo mechanics and bonus offers.
- Develop an A/B testing strategy to optimize acquisition efforts, on-boarding and customer conversion.
- Work on internal tools and reporting needs for the Operations team.
- Actively deliver consumer insights to the Gaming Operations and Product/Engineering team and advocate for new features and changes that will help acquisition/cross sell efforts and drive LTV for gaming customers
- Communicate product releases, promotions and bonus offers to Customer Service team, ensuring that CX, fraud and risk teams are equipped with all information needed to manage customer inquiries
- Identify cross sell opportunities from DraftKings DFS and Sportsbook platforms and define on-boarding and CRM strategies for new gaming vertical
- Establish close relationship to Compliance and Responsible Gaming team, ensuring that all requirements are met prior to launching new promotions and product features
- Perform competitor research and contribute to product roadmap to achieve best in class product
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of online gaming experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Customer-focused view and strong understanding of what a gaming customer wants
- Data-driven and strategic thinker with an understanding of the (online) gaming industry
- Experience in developing and managing best in class gaming operations
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a fast-growing team
- Excellent internal collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with gaming compliance and regulations preferred
- Proven at delivering projects against deadlines
- Track record of working with cross functional teams and delivering first-class customer experience results
