Unruly Studios is a Boston-based EdTech startup. We create products that allow kids to create their own rules. Our flagship product, Unruly Splats, empowers students to learn critical STEM skills through active, social, recess-style play! We’re backed by Amazon, AT&T, Techstars, LearnLaunch, and more. Our current team is made up of former educators and former Nickelodeon, iRobot, and Disney employees.

What will you do?

Lead Generation and Campaign Management

  • Paid Syndicate Campaigns: Own and execute paid syndication campaigns using new or existing assets like white papers, webinars, and guides. This person will be responsible for managing the relationship with the paid vendor and negotiating preferable pricing. They will also track the success of syndicate campaigns down the marketing funnel.
  • Event Management: Own our events calendar and execute our events, including speaking sessions and other paid promotions. You will coordinate the staffing of the booth and manage the logistics of the event.
  • Lead Gen Content (Webinars/Whitepapers): Own the creation of new lead generation content including white papers and webinars and collaborate and coordinate with the creative and content team for any design or copy editing needs. Use customer feedback and industry data to drive decisions on content creation on popular topics in STEM and CS education. You will also manage our lead generation webinars and will appear on camera as a host with our customers and/or partners.
  • Paid Ads: As needed, create and execute paid advertising campaigns on social channels and collaborate and coordinate with the design team for asset creation. 

 

Lead Nurture and Website Optimization

  • Website Management: Manage our website and create and test landing pages associated with your lead generation campaigns. Keep track of engagement through Google Analytics and CrazyEgg to see what drives engagement. Track optimization of lead gen through the website and experiment. Manage and experiment with our Drift chat on the website.
  • Nurture Campaign Management: Create customized email nurture campaigns for new leads coming in the funnel. Track success of conversion down the funnel to evaluate lead quality. 
  • Personas and Customer Understanding: Meet with customers on a regular basis to understand the needs and concerns of our target market.
  • Data and Analytics: Track the success of marketing programs and their impact on revenue; define and track key metrics, develop dashboards, deliver ad-hoc analyses as needed.
  • Lead Operations and Data Integrity: Upload leads to our marketing automation system and segment them based on quality. Own our lead scoring system and adjust as-needed.
  • Lead Gen Tracking and Monthly Reporting: Fill out a monthly marketing report to keep track of key metrics that track the success of each campaign so we can make decisions.
  • Marketing Automation Management: Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline, automate and measure all marketing tasks and workflows.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience analyzing data to inform future decisions or segmentation choices.
  • You love getting to know your target audience and what problems they are trying to solve so you can create lead gen programs that speak to their needs. 
  • You are a strong writer and communicator 
  • Experience using CRMs and Marketing Automation systems (experience with Salesforce and Pardot are a bonus!)
  • You are creative and empathetic, finding innovative ways to reach our target audience
  • You are comfortable managing contractors and other partners as needed. 
  • Experienced in negotiating with vendors 
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and hosting live webinars 
  • You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • You must be a team player and be excited about working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, creative, product, design, and customer success teams. 
  • Be comfortable delegating and working across teams to make sure all associated parts of a campaign are completed. 

 

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the US
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B demand generation marketing - Education or EdTech marketing experience is a bonus! 
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Strong public speaking skills for live webinars
  • Experience managing a CMS (content management systems) like Webflow
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like google analytics and salesforce
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Eagerness to learn and implement new skills
  • Goal-oriented and a strong team-player
  • Receptive to feedback and eager to learn 
  • Must be Unruly!
