We are looking for a Field Marketing Manager to create a vision, set objectives, and develop strategies to enable the sales team to meet or exceed their revenue number. This role is also responsible for the execution of the strategy which includes the delivery of events on budget as well as the measurement of the programs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Head of Growth (Marketing) to develop and execute global events with the objective of creating and nurturing sales opportunities from enterprise target accounts. This includes creating and managing the Tamr event budget
  • Drive event strategy through the development of both pre and post event engagement plan including:
  • Creating and tracking event specific email campaigns
  • Managing staff logistics for all stakeholders of show
  • Tracking hardware, managing shipping arrival and departure of show equipment, and ordering booth supplies to ensure on site arrival of items
  • Managing lead follow up process with internal team to ensure best-in-class conversion to meetings booked and customer acquisition
  • Track and report on ROI of programs (leads, meetings, pipeline, revenue, brand awareness), w/ recommendations for future. Communicate goals and objectives to stakeholders
  • Optimize event strategy, process, and positioning to improve success of events
  • Create processes that allow events to be as repeatable across all markets as possible
  • Lead on-site event logistics globally by setting up hardware, driving lead registration, and demoing Tamr
  • Work cross-functionally to create engaging content initiatives that highlight the Tamr brand across all event programs
  • Work closely with sales teams to gain on-site success and develop events that are most valuable to their markets and needs
  • Work cross-functionally across marketing to create campaigns that support event strategies (i.e. social campaigns, targeted email tactics, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple in-person industry events, tradeshows, networking events, user conferences, road shows and speaking engagements per quarter
  • Ability to work cross functionally with sales, product marketing and finance to execute live events on time and on budget
  • Budget management experience for all field activities
  • Willingness to represent Tamr at live events by engaging with prospects and customers to support sales activities
  • Ability to report on success metrics related to all field marketing events/programs
  • Experience in managing and growing internal event management teams
  • Ability to drive content and collateral for all events, working closely with the content team as well as product and sales

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years experience in managing corporate events and driving event strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to scale and grow event execution across different groups and regions
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to support events on-site
  • Ability to grasp the Tamr business and products and personas we are targeting to help shape event strategy and drive content and collateral for each event
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members
  • Communication skills: Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, working cross-functionally for results and collaborating with partners
  • Must have a style that promotes respect, credibility and trust throughout the organization

This position is available in Cambridge MA or San Francisco CA. Tamr does sponsor employees requiring a visa.
