We are looking for an experienced B2B Events Manager to help extend our industry-leading position in the restaurant software space. In this role you will develop and execute a series of trade show, partner, customer and digital events, all with the goal of improving customer and prospect engagement, building awareness, and driving brand and sales. The Events Manager will partner closely with colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Client Services, Product, Training, HR and Leadership, to deliver differentiated and measurable marketing experiences for our customers, prospects, partners and employees. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and is an integral player on our growing Marketing Team.

*This position offers 100% remote flexibility. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize CrunchTime’s presence at a variety of industry events, conferences and trade shows, including overall strategic vision, messaging, booth/event presence, sponsorship evaluation and management, speaking submissions, lead generation, logistics management, staff communication/training, pre- and post-show communications, content creation, a/v, giveaways, budgeting, measurement & reporting
  • Continuously evaluate industry events and recommend participation in shows that will improve CrunchTime’s awareness and engagement with our target audiences
  • In partnership with your marketing colleagues, develop and manage an ongoing series of digital events (i.e., live webinars) that position CrunchTime as a leader across our various offerings and target segments
  • Lead the planning and execution of our annual customer conference, “Control”, including site selection and management, event logistics, differentiating customer engagement activities, pre- and post-event communications, etc.
  • Partner with Client Services and Sales on our presence at a variety of customer events, including sponsorships, speaking slots, booth presence, giveaways and sales enablement
  • Assist Human Resources with employee events, including CrunchTime’s annual summer and holiday parties
  • Schedule and run regular planning meetings with cross-functional partners, and manage all details and schedules while hitting deadlines and moving the various deliverables associated with each event forward
  • Maintain and enhance our booth properties in partnership with our booth management vendor; ensure our presence is up to date, best-in-class and sets us apart in the marketplace
  • Manage events budget and maximize our show ROI; negotiate with vendors and event leaders to optimize CrunchTime’s presence and attendee experiences

Requirements:

  • Five-plus years of experience executing high-quality B2B events at scale with a proven track record in driving brand, revenue and ROI through outstanding event experiences
  • Ability to create an on-site presence and overall event experience that differentiates CrunchTime and engages our target audiences; you must possess a critical eye, an unfailing commitment to excellence and a desire to improve the event experience each and every time
  • Experience driving successful lead generation campaigns through the events channel, including prospect engagement activities (across email, search and social media), measurement, and the application of results to future event strategies
  • Experience developing comprehensive and highly professional event training talk tracks and overview decks that you deliver to leadership and employee participants (i.e., Sales Managers)
  • Exemplary project management and communications skills, plus the ability to multi-task and manage multiple workstreams at once
  • Ability to travel and manage events onsite as needed
