If you possess the skills and the desire to be part of a team dedicated to industry leadership, we’d like to hear from you. We are looking for an experienced B2B Director of Marketing to help extend our industry-leading position in the restaurant software space. In this role you will lead your team’s efforts and collaborate with others to produce engaging and relevant content and cross-channel campaigns that improve customer and prospect engagement, build awareness, and drive brand and sales. In addition to content and campaigns, the Director of Marketing is responsible for CrunchTime’s brand presence, creative, advertising and trade partnerships, events and internal communications. You will partner closely with teams across Marketing, Sales, Client Services, Product, Training and others, to deliver differentiated and measurable marketing experiences for our customers, prospects, partners and employees. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and is an integral player on our growing Marketing Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive thought leadership-based content and campaigns strategy across customer and prospect lifecycles, and deliver diverse programs through a variety of marketing channels in support CrunchTime’s growth goals
  • Conceive and create various marketing assets, including blog posts, user guides, research reports, videos, social media content, press materials, emails, landing pages and more – all designed to drive engagement with customers and prospects
  • Collaborate closely with our Digital Marketing Manager to understand campaign performance and develop/adjust strategies to improve conversions
  • Own live and digital event strategy, including identification of which shows to participate in, our overall event presence, content (i.e., speaking opportunities, marketing assets), pre- and post-show communications, lead generation programs and measurement of results
  • Manage advertising and trade partnerships across a host of media and industry relationships; develop strategies and assets for paid programs that drive brand and leads; execute, measure, adjust and report out
  • Develop and foster agency relationships, including creative firms, in support of our goals; partner closely, negotiate terms and serve as main point of contact
  • Foster, evolve and evangelize the CrunchTime brand internally and externally; create and maintain visual and written brand standards, and educate others
  • Partner with leadership and HR on employee communications and outreach programs, including delivery of a robust monthly company-wide newsletter, external recruitment campaigns, and employee events and gifts
  • Lead, mentor and grow a team of talented marketers

Requirements:

  • Strategic thinker who understands all facets of modern, data-driven marketing and can enable programs that tie to specific business goals, as well as measure and adjust strategies based on performance
  • 10+ years of progressive management experience in B2B marketing roles that include content marketing and cross-channel campaign delivery, customer engagement, events, creative and branding
  • Background in full-funnel campaign execution with proven results in lead generation, nurture and drip programs, as well as conversion optimization across channels including web, email and social; deep experience in paid search and other digital strategies
  • Experience utilizing marketing and sales automation platforms to deliver and measure content and campaigns; Hubspot and Salesforce skills a big plus
  • A clear creative eye who places a discerning lens on all aspects of design, and ensures that our visual and written brand embody our values, our go-to-market positioning and differentiate us in our space; design expertise is a plus but not required, creative management experience is required
  • Exemplary writing and editing skills that resonate across a variety of mediums and channels, from video to research reports to social posts to website copy
  • Deep experience creating live and digital events that differentiate and deliver great attendee experiences
  • Expertise in employee communication, including delivery of newsletters and events
  • Proven experience in – and a love of – managing, growing and mentoring a team
  • Marketing experience within the hospitality sector is preferred but not required; software marketing experience is a prerequisite
  • Outstanding project management and skills: ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high impact activities and keep complex projects moving forward with agility
  • Ability to manage budgets, forecast expenses and negotiate with vendors
  • Outstanding written, oral and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred
