About the Role:

At Panorama Education, customer marketing is a recently-established marketing function focused on expanding our work in customer districts. We are looking for a customer marketing manager with a broad skill set and a strategic mindset to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage marketing activities to ensure that customers understand the full value of everything Panorama builds for their districts and to help expand customer engagements with Panorama as a lever for increased student impact. 

As a Customer Marketing Manager at Panorama, you’ll collaborate closely across the full Panorama Marketing department and Revenue organization. The ideal candidate is excited about experimenting with a broad range of marketing tactics, measuring results to learn what works and what doesn’t, and helping to create (and then scale) the playbook for customer marketing at Panorama over time. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the creation of Panorama’s monthly customer email newsletter to keep customers informed about new product developments, upcoming events, and helpful resources 
  • Lead a calendar of webinars, meetups, email campaigns, and roundtables for customers to drive interest in adopting new products and maintain industry-leading renewal rates
  • Support the planning and execution of VIP experiences (online and in-person) for customers, such as special events at education conferences
  • Create and test account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns for customer school districts
  • Measure campaign performance and report outcomes to marketing team in order to optimize our customer marketing approach over time 

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably customer marketing or demand generation, in a B2B SaaS environment  
  • Experience developing marketing campaigns (especially email campaigns) to hit important business goals (experience with HubSpot and/or Salesforce is a plus)
  • Experience understanding customers’ needs and pain points, as well as product impact for customers, and using them to shape campaign messaging
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work cross-functionally to accomplish goals
  • Demonstrated experience understanding the impact of — and incorporating attention to — diversity, equity, and inclusion in your work 
  • A growth mindset, a strong sense of curiosity, and eagerness to learn. (We’re in experimentation mode and are still testing to learn what works and what doesn’t!)
  • Bonus points if you have experience in K-12 education or ed-tech
