Definitive’s expansion has created the need for a talented Customer Marketing Program Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage clients. Develop non-transactional experiences that cement clients’ relationships with Definitive. Orchestrate and enable thought leadership, client newsletters, social engagement, and peer-to-peer sharing.
  • Define and drive marketing-led customer upsell and cross-sell programs. Build compelling, audience-focused campaign products and value propositions. Weave the voice of the customer into client experiences by leveraging client stories, use cases, testimonials, excerpts from case studies, and more.


  • Enable account owners. Build campaign, campaign sequencing, and campaign products including message platforms, campaign strategies, content, sales presentations and collateral, call scripts, email scripts, and presentations.


  • Build qualified upsell pipeline. Lead analysis of product usage, logical product pairings, and account profiles and segments to inform and develop programs that enable actionable account outreach. Plan, execute, and measure cross-channel customer campaigns that build pipeline and mature existing opportunities. Create and manage campaigns that convert viable upsell opportunities to business pipeline.


  • Segment effectively. Tailor and customize campaign-specific micro segments to persuade and influence specific clusters of prospects. Segments may be based on attributes such as churn score, engagement patterns, product usage patterns, and more.


  • Cultivate renewals. Collaborate with peers and contribute to programs that reinforce behaviors that correlate with renewals, including, but not limited to encouraging certification, in-product support, phone or email-based support, training attendance, and product adoption.
  • Measure campaigns based on established metrics. Outline campaign objectives and gain buy-in with account owners, customer success managers, and other stakeholders. Take responsibility for visibility into campaign results and close the loop to ensure ongoing lessons learned are leveraged.
  • Test and learn. Experiment with tools, channels, and platforms that enable account-based marketing, increased automation, and predictive capabilities.


  • Content strategist. Contribute to content decisions and map content requirements to buyer lifecycle and desired program outcomes. Translate insights into customers and high-priority differentiators to actionable feedback for content development team to boost account engagement in owned campaigns and beyond.


  • Collaborate with the Definitive ecosystem. Due to the nature of this role and our commitment to transparency and collaboration, this role works closely with account executives and customer success managersas well as other marketing functions (content developers, digital channel owners, operations, etc.).


  • Respect the Definitive Healthcare audience. Lean on best practices research regarding B2B consumer buying behavior to inform programs.

  • Ability to analyze key metrics and interpret them into actionable data points
  • Adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change
