Job Description:
The Communications Specialist, within the Strategy & Consulting team, supports customers' Workhuman Cloud program launches and ongoing success by helping them create pre-launch anticipation and enthusiasm, inspire company-wide early adoption, and motivate employees post-launch to integrate recognition and performance development into their daily work lives.
This role is primarily focused on hands-on content development. In close collaboration with the team's communication managers, operational consultants, and production artists, the Communications Specialist creates high-quality, engaging content for current and future customers to support the adoption and ongoing success of our Workhuman® Cloud programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop compelling written and visual communications and training content to be used in support of our customers' internal program marketing campaigns, including presentations, videos, emails, newsletter/intranet articles, user guides, screencasts, print/digital visual assets, and promotional collateral
• Support a customer resource library of communications and training materials, ensuring content is well written and organized and assets reflect latest product enhancements and innovative communication approaches
• Create engaging customer educational content that conveys Workhuman's best practices, thought leadership, research findings, etc., with an emphasis in online delivery
• Stay abreast of trends in employee communications and share ideas to further progressive, modern thinking in our team's work, reflecting industry trends and ongoing product evolution
• Support a variety of team initiatives as well as other related duties and project as assigned
• Provide occasional support before or after standard business hours to service our global customers; travel periodically to customer sites to staff launch and other promotional events, support video shoots, attend planning meetings, etc.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, or Journalism
• 3 to 5 years professional experience in an internal, employee-facing communications role or consulting role specializing in employee and/or HR communications
• Superior writing and editing skills with proven versatility in developing copy for various audiences and mediums
• Clear understanding of how to translate data and concepts into compelling visuals
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute internal communications plans and supporting assets for company-wide initiatives
• Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines and work in a dynamic, fast-paced, team environment
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word
