Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Notary Experience, the Notary Communications Specialist will support efforts to drive Notary engagement and usage across our various offerings by creating & monitoring a versatile playbook of communication platforms. This individual will roll up their sleeves and dive head first into a world of words and help Notarize to extract learnings, position our competitive brand & impact, as well as support the authoring of outreach communications in partnership with marketing. 

What you’ll do as a Communications Specialist at Notarize:

  • Assist the Notary Operations team with crafting messaging & communications focused on effective knowledge sharing & engagement with Notaries using the Notarize platform across all offerings. 
  • Act as a liaison & contributor between the Ops Team and Marketing to help support the effective creation & build of larger marketing campaigns & initiatives including newsletters, webinars & email & nurture campaigns. 
  • Manage the Operations team email inbox. Helping to craft responses in addition to surfacing feedback or patterns derived from email communications to the Ops Leadership team. 
  • Oversee a variety of communication forums & platforms to surface and share positive brand attributes and areas of focus the Notary Ops team should be aware of. 
  • Build trust & brand loyalty by assisting with brand reputation responsiveness & the identification of potential influencers & partnerships. 
  • Be an advocate and ambassador in public forums. Utilizing battlecards & key GTM materials to help drive brand awareness for Notarize. 
  • Provide data reporting & roll ups summarizing current brand positioning, highlights and focuses for the Notary Operations org. Collaboratively bringing awareness to partneting orgs who may also benefit from the feedback. 

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in a communications or public relations focused role within a consumer or business brand realm. 
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to think creatively & integrate quick problem solving. 
  • Robust familiarity with social & review based platforms. 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences & key stakeholders. 
  • Strong analytical skills to identify patterns & translate information surfaced. 
  • Proven ability to work independently but also foster collaboration. 
  • Experience crafting communications in Hubspot or Marketo is a plus.
