Associate Creative Director

As an associate creative director, you have a passion for creative storytelling, strategy, and innovation. You can pool creative minds together to brainstorm and problem-solve – resulting in forward-thinking creative ideas and solutions. You have a creative eye and a refined design sensibility that you apply to every project – and you can mentor others in your process. You’re not just a great creative thinker, though - you’ve got the wrist to back it up. You crave the fast-paced, startup mentality, and can maintain a hands-on design approach with the team – jumping in wherever the team needs an extra hand.

Location: Framingham, MA
What You will be Doing:
- Support the Creative Director, helping establish and maintain the brand vision with the development of concepts, strategies, and client presentations.
- Ensure brand identity and message consistency across channels.
- Lead the creative development or projects and initiatives as a part of a cross functional team
- Drive creative innovation, taking a hands-on approach.
- Keep up with the latest trends, strategies, and technologies.
- Develop creative ideas and concepts for branding, marketing, advertising
- Lead and participate in brainstorming sessions.
- Embody a passion for creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate positive leadership that embraces constructive feedback and keeps team motivated
- Maintain accountability for meeting client objectives, values, budgets, and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the studio manager to ensure executional quality.
- Evaluate creative team performance, effectively coach and develop your direct reports.
- Become an expert user in our platform
- Work with high-professional and creative standards, attention to detail, and a take-initiative attitude that inspires your co-workers.
The Skills You Will Bring:
- A minimum of 8+ years of leading and managing creative teams, in an agency setting.
- BA, BFA, or MFA in design, illustration, communications or related field.
- A portfolio of work that highlights your multi-disciplinary experience, your ability to innovate, and your creative and functional skills.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Specifically: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD) and Microsoft Office on Mac OS
- A Strong work ethic: Process-oriented, self-starter who effectively manages multiple projects, often within tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Strong knowledge of marketing, brand and design principals and development.
- Strong concept and cross-functional strategy development skills
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
