We're looking for a highly organized Freelance Marketing Producer who thrives on bringing order to complexity. You'll own marketing initiatives from kickoff to launch, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, identifying risks early, and ensuring every deliverable lands on time. You're the person who keeps projects moving, follows up relentlessly, and never lets details fall through the cracks.
Responsibilities- Own project delivery from kickoff through completion, building and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, dependencies, and resource allocations.
- Drive accountability across cross-functional teams by proactively following up on deliverables, identifying risks, and ensuring work is completed on schedule.
- Manage multiple concurrent marketing initiatives, balancing competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Lead project status meetings, track action items, and ensure clear ownership and follow-through across stakeholders.
- Anticipate bottlenecks before they impact timelines, escalating issues early and driving solutions to keep projects moving forward.
- Serve as the operational backbone of the marketing team, creating structure, visibility, and momentum across all initiatives.
- Maintain project documentation, workflows, and reporting within Asana to ensure accurate, real-time visibility into project health and progress.
- 2+ years of experience using Asana and Slack to manage complex project workflows.
- Experience in a marketing or agency environment is required.
- Proven track record managing marketing programs and campaigns from planning through execution.
- Preferred residency in the Greater LA area and ability to work PST hours.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and shifting requirements.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a disciplined approach to tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
- Comfortable following up persistently with stakeholders to ensure work is completed on time and at a high standard.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to keep teams aligned and informed.
- Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues quickly.
- Ability to travel 10–15% to onsite locations as needed.
The salary range for this role is $50.00 - $65.00 an hour and applies only to jobs performed in Culver City, California. This range represents the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Please note that we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
