About OnePay

OnePay is the consumer fintech trusted by millions of Americans to make money better.

Our financial system is broken. High fees, low rates, and too few ways to actually grow your money. We’re fixing it. And we’re moving fast.

We’re an all-in-one financial services platform that brings together banking, high-yield savings, credit cards, point-of-sale lending, investing, and crypto in one place. We also partner with employers, HCM providers, gig platforms, and others to deliver embedded financial services to millions of employees and frontline workers.

We’re backed by Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, and Ribbit Capital, one of fintech’s most respected investors, giving us rare scale, distribution, and the opportunity to build something truly category-defining.

But what really sets OnePay apart is how we move. Our customers don’t have time to wait… and neither do we. This place moves fast, and we’re looking for people who are:

  • Ready to run

  • Hungry and driven by urgency

  • Exceptional at what they do, with low ego

The Role

As the Marketing Partnerships Lead at OnePay, you will lead the strategy and execution of who we partner with, how we show up in culture, and how we scale our brand and business through trusted partners. You will:

  • Define and own OnePay's partnerships strategy — identifying, prioritizing, and structuring the brand, distribution, and cultural partnerships that drive the greatest business and brand impact

  • Lead negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, from initial outreach through deal structuring, contracting, and launch

  • Shape how OnePay shows up in culture, building relationships with brands, media, and cultural institutions that extend our reach and relevance

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic partners, ensuring each relationship delivers measurable value for OnePay, our customers and our partners

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Legal, and Executive teams to bring partnerships to life and ensure seamless execution

  • Analyze partnership performance and use data to inform investment decisions, renewals, and future partner selection

  • Build AI native strategies for partner research, outreach, and execution

You Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, brand marketing, or business development in a B2C or fintech environment

  • Hands-on experience sourcing, negotiating, and managing high-impact brand or distribution partnerships

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills with experience evaluating partnership ROI and business impact

  • A sharp cultural instinct and proven ability to identify partners and moments that build brand relevance

  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, legal, product, and executive stakeholders

  • AI fluency in daily workflows

  • Drive and proactivity - everyone here is a builder and executor

What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary, stock options, and health benefits from Day 1

  • 401(k) plan with company match

  • Remote-friendly (US), flexible time off (FTO), and opportunities for growth

  • A high-growth, mission-driven, inclusive culture where your work has real impact

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
