About Symbiotic

Symbiotic is the infrastructure beneath collateral markets, where capital can secure financial obligations, remain productive, and be enforced by code.

By changing the economics of onchain collateral, Symbiotic enables new categories of neofinance applications that were previously impossible to build - including credit, insurance, RWA liquidity, and more.

As institutional capital increasingly moves onchain, Symbiotic is positioned to become the coordination layer connecting capital and risk across the onchain economy.

Backed by Paradigm, Pantera, Cyber.fund, and Coinbase Ventures, we power 80+ vaults, 74,000+ active stakers, and 111 operators - with Chainlink and Cap Labs among the teams live in production.

Our People

We’re a tight-knit team of experienced builders working at the forefront of financial infrastructure. Our backgrounds span high-growth tech start-ups, leading crypto companies, major banks, insurers, and financial institutions. We work with ownership, a high bar for craft, and the urgency of an early-stage company - in an environment where people are trusted to take initiative and supported to do their best work.

We’re looking for talented professionals to join us at a defining moment, as Symbiotic helps shape the next generation of onchain finance.

The Role

Marketing at Symbiotic spans two very different audiences: crypto-native and traditional institutions. This role is the operational heart of that function; part creator, part operator. You'll run the day-to-day machinery of co-marketing, events and produce content for our socials.
Moreover, you’ll act as the quality bar for everything marketing puts out. As we scale, this role will grow with the function: podcast, newsletter, and other new channels are on the roadmap, and you'll help build them.

What You'll Do

• Own day-to-day marketing ops: the calendar, the pipeline, the follow-through, so nothing ships late and nothing falls through the cracks

• Create content: you'll come up with ideas, execute the simpler ones yourself, and coordinate the team on the rest

• Run ecosystem and co-marketing coordination with partners over Telegram and other channels

• Act as QA for marketing output, keeping things on-brand and on time

• Coordinate the occasional international event, from logistics to on-the-ground execution when required

• Help launch new initiatives as the function grows: podcast, newsletter, etc.

Who You Are

• Organized, high-energy, and proactive: you bring momentum to the team rather than waiting for direction

• Experienced in or around crypto, with enough baseline knowledge to get up to speed on our products quickly and own recurring content yourself

• A sharp eye for brand: you notice when something is off-brand or off-quality before it ships

• You've worked close to TradFi or institutional audiences, or at minimum know how to speak to them

• Hands-on experience running marketing ops: campaigns, calendars, coordination across stakeholders

• You've coordinated events before, ideally internationally

• Comfortable juggling multiple partner conversations and internal stakeholders without dropping threads

Nice to Have

• A knack for spotting crypto trends we can jump on quickly

• Active participant in crypto communities

• You understand onchain or traditional financial products (credit, insurance, lending)

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
