About Glimpse

While working in battery and EV factories at Tesla and Toyota, Glimpse's founders realized that the electrification of the transportation industry had scaled while relying on an insufficient set of quality control tools - leading to uncomfortably high rates of battery pack failure and multi-billion-dollar safety recalls.

Leveraging X-ray CT scanning - the industrial equivalent of a CAT scan - they launched the Glimpse Portal® in 2024, enabling world-class customers such as NASA, Lucid Motors, and Archer Aviation to tightly control their battery quality at scale. After quadrupling revenue in 2025, Glimpse is now expanding into new use cases and manufacturing industries that rely too heavily on an outdated CT scanning technology stack to control the quality of their parts.

About the Role

Glimpse has built its customer base through direct outreach, a strong network, and trade shows. That's gotten us here. What gets us to the next stage is building an inbound marketing engine - one that makes Glimpse the first name engineers and quality managers think of when they need a CT scan or a CT data platform.

We are expanding into new industries and new customer types, across both our scanning services and our on-premise software. We need the marketing stack to match that ambition.

You will be Glimpse's first dedicated marketing hire, reporting to the Head of Business Development and working closely with our Head of Sales and CEO. You will own our channel strategy, content creation, and execution - including a near-term website refresh, SEO/AEO, paid search, and analytics - building most of it from scratch. No marketing team above you, no one to hand things off to. If that sounds exciting rather than intimidating, we would love to talk.

Our culture and values

A working draft of our culture and values aspirations can be found here.

You're Fired Up By:

  • Building - you find a blank canvas more energizing than an inherited playbook

  • Making technical products accessible to people who don't yet know they need them

If you don't meet 100% of the requirements, we still encourage you to apply.

  • Experience with Google Ads or LinkedIn ads

  • Familiarity with AI search optimization techniques

  • Experience with CRM tools

Location

We are headquartered at Greentown Labs in Somerville, MA. Given the hands-on nature of this role, we have a strong preference for candidates in the Boston metro area. We are happy to discuss flexibility options for exceptional candidates.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
