Marketing Intern — AI Venture Studio (Vulcury LLC)

Location: Remote

Duration: 3-month internship

Compensation: Stipend provided

About Vulcury

Vulcury LLC is a venture studio focused on building AI-enabled companies across multiple industries. Rather than operating a single business, Vulcury develops new ventures from the ground up—combining technology, research, and operational expertise to launch scalable platforms.

Our marketing team supports these ventures by building brand awareness, developing growth strategies, and translating complex ideas into compelling narratives for customers, partners, and investors.

Role Overview

We are seeking several Marketing Interns to support growth initiatives across the Vulcury venture studio.

Because our ventures are early stage and fast-moving, the work spans a broad range of modern marketing activities—from SEO and content creation to campaign management, analytics, and creative production.

We expect candidates to enter with varying levels of experience. Some interns may already possess strong technical or creative marketing skills, while others may primarily bring curiosity and a strong desire to learn. We will aim to strike a balance between existing capabilities and growth potential when building the intern team.

Areas of Work

Interns may contribute to initiatives across several marketing domains:

Search & Content Marketing

- SEO optimization and keyword research

- Blog writing and long-form thought leadership content

- Structuring content for both traditional search and AI discovery

Website Optimization & Conversion

- Landing page optimization

- Website performance analysis

- Improving conversion rates through messaging and design adjustments

Campaign Management

- Supporting digital campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Google, and Meta

- Monitoring campaign performance and testing new strategies

Email Marketing

- Preparing email newsletters and drip campaigns

- Managing segmentation and message testing

Analytics & Marketing Intelligence

- Analyzing campaign performance and website traffic

- Supporting dashboard development and performance reporting

- Conducting audience and competitor research

Public Relations

- Drafting outreach materials

- Identifying potential media placements and partnerships

Social Media

- Developing and scheduling posts

- Supporting thought leadership content

Creative Production

- Creating or editing images for marketing campaigns

- Assisting with short-form video content production

AI-Enabled Marketing

- Experimenting with AI tools to improve marketing workflows

- Supporting automation of research, content generation, and campaign execution

Requirements

Qualifications

We are open to a wide range of backgrounds. Strong candidates typically demonstrate:

- Excellent writing and communication skills

- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn quickly

- Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or emerging technology

- Comfort working independently in a remote environment

Helpful but not required:

- Experience with SEO or keyword research

- Familiarity with marketing tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Mailchimp, etc.)

- Experience with Canva, video editing tools, or creative software

- Familiarity with AI tools used for marketing workflows

Benefits

What You Will Gain

This internship offers direct exposure to how early-stage companies build marketing engines from scratch. Interns will work on real projects affecting live ventures and will gain experience across multiple growth channels.

Exceptional performers may be invited to continue working with Vulcury or its affiliated companies in longer-term roles.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
