We’re seeking a proactive, organized, and brand-conscious Marketing Generalist to join as a contractor, with a potential path to full-time. This role supports core marketing operations, including events and conferences, webinars, content governance, social media, and brand quality across customer-facing materials.

The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, works comfortably cross-functionally, and brings a sharp eye for brand consistency.

In this role, you will:

Marketing Planning & Visibility

  • Own and maintain the marketing calendar for events, campaigns, webinars, and conferences.
  • Share regular updates via Slack, newsletters, and cross-team channels to ensure visibility and alignment.
  • Partner with CS, Sales, and Product to align timing with K-12 academic cycles.

Events, Conferences & Webinars

  • Manage logistics for conferences and events, including registration, speakers, swag, booths/sessions, and communications.
  • Coordinate with event organizers on timelines, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Execute webinar setup and promotion (email, social, landing pages, live support).
  • Track post-event and webinar performance, including attendance, engagement, and follow-up metrics.

Marketing Systems & Social Media

  • Maintain marketing tools and hubs to keep resources organized, current, and accessible.
  • Manage NoRedInk’s social media presence, including scheduling, posting, engagement, and event-based content.

Brand & Content Quality

  • Review customer-facing materials to ensure brand consistency, accuracy, and audience appropriateness.
  • Partner cross-functionally to maintain consistent messaging, visuals, and tone across teams.

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing or related roles (EdTech or SaaS experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing marketing calendars and live events.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, Salesforce, and other sales/marketing tools.
  • Experience supporting conferences, webinars, webinars comms, swag logistics, and social media management.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.
  • A strong eye for brand detail and consistency.
  • Experience with K-12 audiences (teachers, administrators, district stakeholders) is a plus.

Scope of Work:

This is a project-based contractor engagement at a pay rate of $35/hour, with the potential to transition to full-time employment. U.S. Applicants Only.

  • The initial contract timeframe is 12 weeks, with the option to extend or convert sooner based on performance, culture alignment, and organizational needs. 
  • Full-time conversion includes eligibility for benefits, team incentives, and participation in long-term marketing strategy.
  • Timely communication and availability to meet agreed delivery timelines during peak renewal periods are important to the success of this engagement
