MARKETINGWhat We Do

We deliver the most innovative gaming experiences possible to players around the world. Whether through community outreach, world-class events, or partnership integrations, the Epic Games Publishing and Marketing teams seek to surprise players with new experiences every time they drop in to play.

What You'll Do

Epic Games is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Events Production Manager, responsible for the planning, logistics, and execution of event experiences and exhibit programs —supporting owned events, key third party trade shows, and sponsorships. This role focuses on the operational and logistical components of events including exhibit content and production, vendor management, venue coordination, and onsite activations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in managing the many moving parts of complex event environments.

In this role, you will
  • Oversee all aspects of event and exhibit production—from design and fabrication to logistics and onsite installation/dismantle. Provide hands-on management of logistics, vendors, and event flow. Ensure brand consistency and high-impact presence at owned and industry events
  • Manage event logistics end-to-end, including venue coordination, floor plans, furniture, electrical, internet, AV, shipping, and storage. Maintain timelines and production schedules across multiple activations
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to determine appropriate content for each event, including technical demos, customer presentations, activations, video content, sizzle reels, etc.
  • Plan and execute supporting ancillary events such as VIP dinners, customer receptions, private meetings, and partner activations. Coordinate venue scouting, contracts, RSVPs, transportation, and on-site execution
  • Source, negotiate, and manage third-party vendors (e.g., exhibit houses, caterers, rental companies, decorators). Serve as primary liaison to ensure timely and quality deliverables
  • Own and track event production budgets. Monitor costs, optimize spend, and ensure accurate reconciliation post-event
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including marketing, business development, product management, events technology, and executive staff to align event objectives and experiences
What we're looking for
  • Serve as on-the-ground lead for setup, execution, and teardown
  • 5+ years of experience in event or exhibit production, logistics, and operations—preferably within a marketing or events team
  • Proven experience managing exhibit programs, show services, and large events with complex logistical and tech components
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management, budgeting, and project management abilities
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours based on event schedules
  • Calm under pressure with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with the gaming, entertainment, and/or technology events landscape

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
