Arpio is building the next generation of disaster recovery for the cloud.

With the increasing complexity of cloud-native environments, we know resilience to these threats is about more than just data. That’s why, at Arpio, we have built a best in class SaaS offering that makes it easier than ever to protect your entire AWS infrastructure from catastrophic downtime.
Behind the scenes, we are a small but mighty team (YC21) who love to tackle hard problems and learn new things. We are fired up about working together to build an innovative new product and company from the ground up.

About the Role

As our Events Marketing Manager, you'll own the full lifecycle of our events program, from the first spark of an idea to the final post-event report. That means leading early-stage planning: setting objectives, defining the audience, scoping budgets, and building timelines that keep every stakeholder aligned. You'll source and manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, AV teams, and travel partners, and run the show on the ground when it matters most.

You'll work closely with your colleagues in Marketing and Sales to ensure every event generates pipeline, by driving brand awareness, refining lead capture processes, briefing Sales on priority targets, and handing off qualified contacts with the context they need to follow up fast.

What You'll DoEvents You'll Own from Start to Finish
  • Trade shows & industry conferences and major eventsi.e., AWS re:Invent, RSA, KubeCon, and VMware Explore; booth logistics, sponsorship fulfillment, staffing, lead capture, and pre/post-show campaigns, onsite management
  • Curated small-group dinners for prospects and customers; invitation lists, venue, catering, and guest experience
  • Webinars & virtual events - Customer roundtables, thought leadership panels, and on-demand virtual experiences
  • VIP customer programs - Advisory boards, exclusive briefings, and retention-focused hospitality
  • Field marketing events - Regional meetups, happy hours, and co-hosted partner events
  • Employee events - Team offsites/all-hands, and milestone celebrations which may be in person or virtual
  • Additional events as they arise
Responsibilities
  • Own the annual events calendar and budget across all event types
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendors, venues, and AV partners
  • Collaborate with Sales and Demand Gen on pipeline goals for each event
  • Manage logistics end-to-end: registration, travel, swag, and on-site operations
  • Track post-event ROI, attendance metrics, and pipeline influenced
  • Partner with Marketing on speaker prep, session topics, and follow-up
  • Lead event debriefs and continuously improve the event playbook
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of B2B events experience in SaaS or cloud/tech
  • Proven track record managing trade show presence at scale
  • Experience planning executive and VIP experiences end-to-end
  • Strong project management skills - you keep 12 balls in the air
  • Comfortable with event tech: CRM, landing page and registration creation, lead sharing, and other similar marketing tools
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tying events to pipeline outcomes
  • High urgency, ownership mentality, and bias for action
  • Occasional travel required (est. 20–30%)
How You Work

Our five core values aren't words on a wall. They're how we make decisions, treat each other, and show up for our customers every day. This role lives in each of them.

  • You hold yourself accountable for the full event lifecycle, from signed venue contract to post-event pipeline report, measuring success by outcomes, not activity
  • You stay close to Sales and customer feedback to ensure every event is designed around real buyer problems, not just a logo on a booth
  • You report results honestly, flag what isn't working, and build credibility through candor, not spin
  • You execute with urgency, treat every budget dollar as an investment, and learn fast from events that miss the mark
  • You collaborate effectively across Marketing, Sales, and Leadership by building the kind of trust that makes cross-functional planning feel like a team sport
Salary and Benefits
  • Competitive salary
  • Fully employer-paid health benefits; 75% employer-paid dental, vision, and life insurance; and 75% employer coverage for dependents
  • For fully remote employees, a $125 home office stipend or $250 company-subsidized co-working membership
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Small, collaborative team environment
  • Opportunity to work on the cutting edge of cloud technology
