Manages marketing budgets, vendors, resources, and return on investment while supporting product launches and brand growth.
Position Overview:
Sunny Health & Fitness is seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of our brand and marketing initiatives across multiple channels. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's brand identity, driving awareness, and supporting product launches through compelling campaigns, content, and customer engagement strategies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in digital marketing, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Lead the development and implementation of the overall brand strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and market positioning.
- Develop marketing strategies for both new and existing products, with a focus on brand growth, awareness, and sales support.
- Oversee execution of integrated marketing plans across digital, PR, events, and traditional marketing channels.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Direct, manage, and coach the marketing team to set clear goals, establish priorities, and ensure successful delivery of marketing initiatives.
- Partner with Sales and Product Development teams to align marketing efforts with commercial objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the creative and production teams to develop effective marketing materials, assets, and brand campaigns.
Digital Marketing & Content
- Guide and support the team in content production, ensuring high-quality, brand-aligned deliverables across platforms.
- Manage and enhance the company’s social media presence, driving engagement and brand recognition.
- Lead digital campaigns (SEM/SEO, email, social media, display, affiliate, and marketplace) to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
Data-Driven Marketing
- Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and report on key marketing KPIs (traffic, engagement, conversions, etc.), and use insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Establish testing strategies to evaluate and refine programs for effectiveness.
Budget & Resource Management
- Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI.
- Monitor program performance and optimize spend across campaigns, platforms, and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior marketing roles, with proven success in leading digital marketing initiatives.
- Experience in B2C and/or B2B retail environments, ideally with consumer product brands.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels including SEO/SEM, paid social, email, display, affiliate, and marketplace strategies.
- Highly proficient in using analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends, Google Ads, etc.) to inform decision-making.
- Deep understanding of content marketing, creative development, and social media trends.
