What You'll Bring:

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage marketing activities and provide support across the Africa region and vertical product teams.
  • Implement marketing and brand strategies, operational plans, and targets.
  • Drive sales and engagement with innovative ideas and thought leadership.
  • Ensure approval for all content relating to the organization's reputation.
  • Develop marketing campaigns, analyse data, and optimize performance.
  • Close alignment and collaboration with sales team to ensure successful execution and support of marketing campaigns.

Project Management:

  • Use marketing systems to manage projects and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Liaise with business units to understand customer needs and campaign goals.
  • Develop and manage multiple projects from conception to completion.
  • Monitor campaign success, take corrective action, and advise the organization accordingly.
  • Guide change management initiatives and communication requirements.

Stakeholder and Vendor Management:

  • Interface with senior business colleagues to contribute to brand and marketing activities.
  • Research trends and make recommendations for customization.
  • Build and maintain vendor and supplier relationships.

Social Media and Events:

  • Develop highly targeted social media calendar – anchored by themes and key in region insights.
  • Brief in and ensure implementation of social media campaigns. content calendar.
  • Use Sprinklr to monitor campaign success and optimise.  
  • Develop plans and execute on customer events and create event follow-up plans.

  • Convert technical information to audience-appropriate communication.
  • Influence, persuade, negotiate, and present ideas effectively.

  • Manage multiple projects and make strategic decisions.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B marketing.
  • Knowledge of key marketing disciplines, including digital marketing and B2B strategies.
  • Experience in strategic marketing planning, lead generation, and thought leadership.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably SalesForce.
  • Experience working across African markets.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
