About the Marketing Associate Position

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Associate to manage marketing projects that are beneficial to Givzey’s growth as the first Digital Gift Agreement platform for nonprofit fundraising. As a startup, the Marketing Associate plays a pivotal role in shaping Givzey’s marketing strategies and is responsible for crafting and executing creative marketing campaigns, coordinating conferences, and planning promotional events that align with current customer preferences and needs. This dynamic role demands a flexible and all-hands-on-deck mentality to ensure our company's success in the ever-evolving business landscape.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the art of marketing and has an abundance of ideas on efficient strategy building and execution. The candidate is extremely organized, must have a strong marketing background, and be equipped with the tools to effectively enhance the promotion of our products, services, and brand.

The Marketing Associate’s goal is to generate customer interest in our products and services, enhance our reputation, and foster continuous company growth. 

Marketing Associate responsibilities are:

  • Reporting to the CMO, formulate, develop, and deliver perceptive and efficient marketing strategies.
  • Evaluate industry trends, brand awareness, and competitive ventures through rigorous and documented market research.
  • Generate engaging content for a diverse range of marketing channels including social, blogs, newsletters, case studies, press releases, and the website to create lead generation opportunities and establish Givzey as leader in the space.
  • Organize and oversee campaigns, webinars, exhibitions, and promotions across a variety of platforms.
  • Act as point of contact with conference and tradeshow coordinators to manage logistics and execute on our participation as exhibitors and participants.
  • Maintain relationships and collaborate with media publishers and vendors during promotional activities.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign progress and performance using a variety of metrics and reports on performance.

Marketing Associate requirements are:

  • Previous or comparable experience in a marketing type role including marketing event management. 
  • Adept understanding of market research techniques and the ability to understand the nonprofit fundraising space.
  • Demonstrates strong autonomy: Proven ability to work independently, stay focused on tasks, and maintain excellent communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Thorough knowledge of principles of strategic planning and best practices of marketing.
  • Proficient with marketing software (e.g., Hubspot CRM, Wix, Canva).
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong time-management capabilities.
  • Innate sense of commercial awareness, coupled with a creative mind.
  • BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant discipline.
