As part of MassMutual's Distribution Channel Marketing Analytics team, you will be working with cross-functional business stakeholders to analyze marketing efficacy. You will work with senior team members to generate analytical hypotheses, analyze marketing performance and generate actionable recommendations to support Marketing strategy as well as the day-to-day decision-making.
The Team
This position is part of the Distribution Channel Marketing Analytics team, sitting within the Marketing Analytics and Customer Insights group, which is responsible for marketing measurement and analysis to drive marketing strategy. We seek to do this in a high caliber team. The team fills a critical role for the organization, and the work you will be doing will directly impact marketing strategy.
The Impact:
As a Marketing Analytics Specialist, you will:

  • Become an extension of your business partner's teams where you immerse yourself in their business and build subject matter expertise
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of your business partner's marketing campaigns relative to goals and objectives
  • Deliver concise, clear and actionable presentations and communications to decision makers
  • Evaluate marketing campaign performance throughout the funnel and evaluate overall effectiveness and efficiencies across various channels and tactics
  • Translate complex business questions into problems that can be solved through data to drive growth and profitability
  • Build and enhance interactive reports to empower the marketing leadership team
  • Utilize industry best practices to visualize data in a way that allows quick and easy insight


The Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing or web analytics experience, with strong understanding of marketing measurement strategies and ROI calculations
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience working with SQL, R, or similar tools
  • 1+ years of experience building data visualizations and dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • 1+ year of experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Snowplow)


The Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience working with a variety of marketing data sources to build and assemble marketing campaign dashboards that align to campaign goals and objectives, while also allowing for exploratory analysis
  • Experience extracting key insights and learnings, shaping them into informative stories, and using PowerPoint or similar vehicles to present to stakeholders
  • Fast learner and a strong problem solver; ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written & oral communication, and collaboration skills that enable clear and concise communication of data issues and analyses that can be understood by a broad audience
  • Ability to build & maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional groups
  • B2B marketing experience within financial services experience is a plus

Salary Range: $99,800.00-$131,000.00
