Aetna Marketing is building on a strong foundation of AI innovation — accelerating the scaled, responsible adoption of AI capabilities across its marketing organization. To support that transformation, we're looking for a Marketing AI Learning and Enablement Manager who is passionate about empowering people to work smarter, build confidence with emerging tools, and unlock the full potential of AI in their daily workflows.

In this role, you won't just build training programs — you'll shape how an entire marketing organization thinks about, adopts, and trusts AI. You'll design learning experiences, coach practitioners, champion responsible use, and connect the dots between technology capability and human readiness. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role with significant cross-functional influence, partnering closely with the Manager of AI Enablement Project Management Office (PMO) and cross-functional stakeholders to drive measurable improvements in adoption, quality, efficiency, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Learning & Development

  • Own marketing skills mapping and inventory of existing AI learning materials
  • Define learning paths and training & certification milestones relevant to Aetna Marketing needs
  • Design and deliver 3–4 training workshops annually for Aetna Marketing at a team level; create micro-learning, guides, videos, and quick-start checklists
  • Build and maintain toolkits (prompt libraries, brand/compliance checklists, starter kits) that reduce time to value and improve output quality
  • Launch and coordinate an AI Champion/Change Agent program (volunteer cohort): office hours, monthly roundtables, and best-practice circles

Platform Administration and User Adoption

  • Own platform administration, user training and enablement for Marketing-specific GenAI platforms (e.g. WriterAI
  • Perform usage analysis (e.g., Copilot/365, Writer AI, Claude, others), identify challenges, and recommend optimizations
  • Triage skills gaps and maintain known-issues documentation; coordinate with vendors and internal teams for resolution

Brand and Regulatory Compliance Enablement

  • Partner with Brand, Compliance, and Data and Digital Analytics Technology (DDAT) AI Governance to embed responsible AI practices into day-to-day marketing workflows — ensuring teams understand not just how to use AI tools, but how to use them in ways that protect brand integrity and meet regulatory standards
  • Support the adoption and scaled rollout of AI agents designed to reinforce brand voice and compliance guardrails (e.g., content audit agents, brand voice checks, digital asset reviews), providing the guidance and resources marketers need to confidently work within established standards and policies

Executive & Stakeholder Communication

  • Align activities with the Manager, AI Enablement Project Management Office (PMO) on intake, prioritization, and roadmap; and with the Lead Director on strategy, scorecards, and executive updates
  • Build and maintain backend and executive-facing dashboards that track AI adoption, confidence, learning completions, agent usage, and brand/compliance adoption
  • Prepare clear enablement narratives, demos, and leadership updates that highlight value, risks, and progress; contribute to leadership scorecards
  • Share industry scans and best practices relevant to brand/compliance and upskilling

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in marketing enablement, training/learning design, marketing operations, or product enablement for digital software / AI tools
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training (workshops, micro-learning, toolkits) and driving user adoption at scale
  • Hands-on proficiency with AI platforms and marketing tools (e.g., Claude, CoPilot, Gemini, GPT, Adobe)
  • Strong prompt engineering and content QA skills with practical experience building or working within GenAI workflows
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to translate complex concepts into simple, usable guidance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
  • Certifications in instructional design, project/change management, AI governance, or related disciplines
  • Practical knowledge of brand management and/or compliance in marketing workflows and responsible AI principles
  • Hands-on experience with low/no-code workflow and agent building (e.g., Copilot Studio, Workfront automations, GenAI playbooks/agents)
  • Experience in healthcare, retail, or regulated industries

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
