This is an exempt position with a salary range of $109,124-$127,680
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position will play an integral role in the growth of Alkegen’s Industrial Thermal Insulation group focused on portfolio of steel. Critical to the success of this professional will be their ability to be a proactive, collaborative, able to engage cross functional teams, and to be focused on strategic approaches to deliver our sales commitments. Based on performance and incremental successes, this position offers an excellent platform for advanced career progression within the Business and Company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Success will be measured by the execution of defined sales initiatives on time and achieving the forecasted revenues
This intelligent and engaging communicator will be accountable for developing, coordinating, and executing the commercial strategy for the business by developing and winning at key client accounts.
This role will work cross-functionally with Business Managers, Operations, Application Engineering and R&D to execute growth initiatives.
Develop relationships at major clients to drive rapid Introduction and commercial sales to gain market share in region and in support of global initiatives.
Propose new product initiatives supported by a strong business case with clear facts and accurate data to reinforce the potential of new business and revenue streams.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements, market requirements, competitive products, market size and growth rates for new market opportunities.
Strong forecasting competency and maintains clear records to track opportunities and execution on a weekly and monthly basis.
Familiar with ERP Systems for Sales Management
Actively supports current operating plans and the development of long-term strategic plans.
Participation in industry events, and industry specific committees (where applicable).
Ethical Approach to Business.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5-10 years of sales and market development experience within the steel sector.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or engineering is required
Ability to translate business objectives into action and delivery
Demonstrated ability to work with people in multiple diverse cultures and to develop collaborative relationships to drive results
Possession of sales, technical, financial, and business skills to understand the requirements of the market and its opportunities
