JOB TITLE: Market Execution Analyst

DEPARTMENT: Public Sector

REPORTS TO: Market EVP

JOB LOCATION: Remote (U.S. based)

TRAVEL: 25%

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Market Execution Analyst plays a critical role in driving sales performance and operational efficiency by analyzing market data, supporting execution plans, and providing actionable insights to cross-functional teams. This role supports the alignment between strategic objectives and field execution, ensuring the right products, promotions, and priorities reach the right markets at the right time. This role supports end-to-end execution—from planning through delivery—to ensure market readiness, operational efficiency, and alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate is data-driven, execution-focused, and thrives in cross-functional environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data Analysis & Insights
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales, distribution, and retail execution data across multiple regions and channels.
    • Develop dashboards and performance scorecards to track KPIs, identify gaps, and uncover growth opportunities.
    • Provide actionable recommendations to improve speed, efficiency, and accuracy of market delivery.
    • Monitor market trends, competitive actions, and promotional effectiveness to inform execution strategies.
      • Execution Support
        • Partner with sales, trade marketing, and supply chain teams to optimize in-market execution plans.
        • Support territory planning, route-to-market strategy, and product launches with data-driven recommendations.
        • Provide real-time visibility into field compliance with promotional and merchandising standards.
        • Support risk mitigation planning and issue resolution for delivery disruptions.
      • Cross-Functional Collaboration
        • Work closely with field sales, finance/accounting, marketing, and category management to align execution with brand and commercial strategies.
        • Serve as a communication bridge between field teams and headquarters to ensure alignment on timing, requirements, and priorities.
        • Deliver presentations and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels.
        • Tools & Reporting
          • Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards to track status and performance levels.
          • Assist in scenario planning and what-if analyses to support market readiness decisions.
          • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and support continuous improvement of analytics processes.

             

            MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):

            • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Excel and visualization tools.
            • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data into compelling stories.
            • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
