The Strategy department is central to Motorola Solutions' International organization, which spans Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. This division generates over US$1 billion in annual sales and has a significant presence in numerous countries across these regions.
Our department leads the strategic planning process, ensuring resources are aligned with key growth opportunities. We are responsible for vital market and competitive intelligence, including strategic planning, market research, business positioning, and market share analysis.
Job Description
An internship with our Strategy team offers a unique opportunity to understand the inner workings of a large multinational corporation. You will gain firsthand experience in how we analyze markets, assess competitors, and implement strategic initiatives.
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Berlin, Germany office as a full-time intern (40 hours/week) for one year, starting in mid August 2026.
Main tasks are:
➤ Work on current strategic projects, specially related to competitive analysis
➤ Deliver weekly a report on new tenders available for our industry in publicly available sources
➤ Analyze market report, data inputs & market data in order to produce quarterly analysis on Motorola Solutions vs. competitors performance
➤ Produce desk research on market intelligence to support growth initiatives
➤ Contribute to the discussions & decisions of the Strategy department, which will give the person a good insight into the overall works & strategy of a large business.
Basic Requirements
For these interesting tasks we are looking for someone with the following profile:
- Min. Bachelor degree in business, management, economics, finance or engineering. Master degree is a bonus
- Interest in performing business & market analysis
- Working knowledge of MS Excel/Goolg Sheets data analysis, and high interest to work with data. Also MS Powerpoint and other MS Office applications and Google Suite tools
- Analytical mindset and enthusiasm for solving business and strategic challenges
- Enthusiasm for the business and strategy area
- To be result-oriented, self-efficient and capable of independently driving your tasks forward
- Very good written and spoken English skills; good skills in a second language would be a plus.
