Job Responsibilities:
The Manager, Treasury Systems & Operations is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining Magna's Treasury Management Systems and processes to ensure effective and efficient Treasury functions. This includes overseeing Treasury's control and compliance requirements & reporting, policy development/review and promotion. As a key business partner, the Manager, Treasury Systems & Operations will support divisions as Treasury-lead with finance system integrations, mergers & acquisitions, and drive automation and efficiency initiatives while manage the seamless integration of banking and treasury technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury systems management, process improvement/optimization, banking services management, internal and external audit requirements, and the ability to drive continuous improvements and implement new treasury solutions and initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:
Manage Magna's Treasury & Risk Management Systems
- Ensure daily processing effectiveness and manage system maintenance
- Oversee global bank account signatories and online banking platforms
- Troubleshoot daily system/transaction issues
Project Manage Treasury & Risk projects & process improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive automation initiatives
- Manage assigned projects, including reviewing and negotiating treasury contracts
Manage Treasury's Control and Compliance program
- Lead compliance engagements with auditors and support treasury policies and controls
Banking Services Management
- Manage back-office treasury Admin team
- Maintain relationships with bank partners, including periodic cost reviews and evaluate banking products & services
- Support internal business partners including AR, AP, legal, tax, and IT
Who we are looking for:
- 5+ years of accounting and/or treasury experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; post-graduate certifications (CTP, CPA, PMP) are an asset
- Strong Treasury systems knowledge and experience in systems management and process improvement through automation
- Strong knowledge of Treasury Control & Compliance maintenance, enforcement, and reporting requirements
- Project Management experience, including developing project plans, managing execution, and successful implementations
- Excellent communication skills and strong experience with bank account management, including FBAR reporting and knowledge of banking systems and payment processes
