The Opportunity
We're building something here. Our Talent Acquisition team sits at the center of WS's growth, partnering directly with senior leadership and department heads to bring in the talent that powers this company. We're lean by design, a team that operates with high ownership, high standards, and genuine pride in how we show up for the business.
We're looking for a Manager, Talent Acquisition, to own the full recruiting lifecycle across multiple concurrent searches. You'll work across every corner of business development, construction, finance, operations, legal, and beyond, serving as a trusted advisor to your hiring partners and a true ambassador for the WS brand and for this team's reputation inside the company.
This is not a coordination role. This is a recruiting role for someone who loves the craft, operates with urgency and intentionality, and takes real ownership over the outcome of every search they run.
What You'll Do
- Own searches end-to-end: intake and launch, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate management, offer, and close
- Build strong, consultative relationships with department heads and hiring managers — becoming their go-to recruiting partner
- Source proactively and creatively — not waiting for applications to come in
- Manage a pipeline of active requisitions simultaneously without letting anything slip
- Represent WS Development and the Talent Acquisition team with professionalism and intentionality at every touchpoint in the process
- Collaborate closely with our TA Coordinator, HR Business Partners, and SVP, People
- Navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and fast-moving timelines without losing composure or quality
- Contribute to the continued evolution of how this team operates — process, tooling, candidate experience, and beyond
Requirements
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with exposure to a mix of technical, professional, and operational roles
- A track record of running multiple searches simultaneously and closing them efficiently — without sacrificing quality
- The presence, communication skills, and business acumen to hold your own with senior leadership
- A proactive, creative sourcing mindset — you build pipelines before you need them
- Strong organizational instincts and the ability to manage up, down, and across in a fast-moving environment
- Genuine curiosity about the business you're hiring for you. You want to understand what great looks like before you go find it
- High standards for how candidates and hiring managers experience the recruiting process
- Comfort with — and ideally enthusiasm for — AI-forward tools and modern recruiting practices
Logistics
- Based in Chestnut Hill, MA with an in-office expectation of 4 days per week
- Reports to the Director, Talent Acquisition
Why WS
You'll have real ownership here. Real access to senior leadership. Real variety in what you recruit for. And you'll be doing it at a company that is genuinely one of the most interesting real estate stories in the country right now. If you want to build your career, and your brand, somewhere that takes talent seriously, this is it.
