Your Impact at LILA

As the Manager or Sr. Manager of Leadership Development at Lila Sciences, you will own the design, execution, and ongoing refinement of our flagship leadership development programming, with an immediate focus on Echelon, our internal leadership development and culture-building program. Reporting into the Lead HRBP and partnering closely with program sponsors, executive sponsors, EAs, and HR leadership, you will be the dedicated owner who ensures programming runs with continuity, quality, and visible business impact across a fast-growing scientific and AI organization.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who blends strong content and curriculum instincts with sharp program management, clear stakeholder communication, and a builder's mindset. You will refine existing materials, build out new content and program structure, partner with internal and external SMEs, and serve as the connective tissue between participants, sponsors, and HR leadership, keeping everyone aligned, on schedule, and bought in.

What You'll Be Building

  • Lead the design, refinement, and execution of Echelon, our flagship leadership development and cultural program, driving curriculum quality, participant experience, and continuity across cohorts
  • Partner with internal SMEs, executive sponsors, and external content providers to design, build, and continuously refine learning content, materials, and program structure
  • Own the end-to-end program calendar, cohort logistics, and operational cadence for Echelon and adjacent leadership development programming, partnering with EAs to manage scheduling, logistics, and day-of details, and proactively identifying and addressing changes as they arise to ensure a seamless participant experience
  • Manage the program budget, vendor relationships, and external facilitator engagements, ensuring strong ROI and a high-quality participant experience
  • Build and maintain measurement frameworks (engagement, learning outcomes, behavior change, business impact) that demonstrate the value of leadership development investments to HR and executive leadership
  • Collect and synthesize participant feedback to surface insights and recommend program improvements, and communicate clearly and concisely with participants, sponsors, and HR leadership across all levels — keeping stakeholders aligned on program status, risks, and outcomes

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of experience designing and running leadership development, learning & development, or talent development programs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of running complex, multi-stakeholder programs on time and on budget — proactively staying ahead of deadlines and anticipating what's needed before it's asked for
  • Demonstrated experience building or significantly refining curriculum, learning content, and program materials — not just delivering off-the-shelf content
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with comfort engaging senior leaders and executive sponsors as thought partners
  • Strong analytical instincts — able to define success metrics, design measurement approaches, and translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into program improvements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; coaching, facilitation, instructional design, or organizational psychology background is a plus
  • Ability to work 3 days per week onsite at our Cambridge, MA location

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in biotech, AI, deeptech, or other technical or scientific organizations
  • Familiarity with HiBob, Greenhouse, or similar HRIS/ATS platforms
  • Background in organizational development, change management, or culture-building work
  • Prior experience in a startup or scale-up environment where the program was built from scratch or significantly rebuilt
  • Comfort using AI tools to accelerate content development, analysis, or program operations

Compensation

We offer competitive base compensation with bonus potential and generous early-stage equity. Your final offer will reflect your background, expertise, and expected impact.

Full-time U.S. employees receive a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, and vision coverage; employer-paid life and disability insurance; flexible time off with generous company wide holidays; paid parental leave; an educational assistance program; commuter benefits, including bike share memberships for office based employees; and a company subsidized lunch program.
