EZClaim, part of the Fullsteam organization is looking for a Manager, Software Engineering to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions, and driving technical innovation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, lead development efforts, and mentor team members while maintaining best practices in software engineering.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers to deliver high-quality, scalable software platforms
  • Provide technical guidance and career development support to team members
  • Oversee project planning and delivery timelines
  • Manage team capacity, hiring, and performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with other members of the EZClaim leadership team, along vertical and group leadership, to understand priorities and business objectives, translating them into technical deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance on design, architecture, and coding best practices, ensuring efficient and maintainable code.
  • Review technical designs and code, avoiding unnecessary complexity and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
  • Ensure stability and performance of software systems, proactively addressing any issues to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the development team.
  • Conduct regular code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
  • Lead by example as a primary contributor

Skills & Competencies:

  • Agile Project Management & Oversite
  • Proficiency in C#, Angular, JavaScript, SQL (SQL Server)
  • Azure/AWS Cloud Architecture & Deployment
  • Experience with modern software development frameworks and methodologies
  • Knowledge of database design, architecture, and optimization
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor high-performing software development teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a formal leadership or engineering management role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with SDLC tooling
  • Prior experience with medical software solutions is a plus
  • Minimum 6+ years of professional experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing Web, SaaS, or Mobile products
  • Demonstrated ability to solve challenging technical problems
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technology and/or complex systems
  • Deep understanding of .NET/C# programming
  • Proven ability to decompose complex problems into discrete software deliverables
  • Coachable with a high integrity ownership mind-set
  • Self-starter with consistent track record of delivering high quality software in a pragmatic fashion
