This role will focus specifically on purchase protection, including disputes and refunds—a critical part of the user journey and an area of significant investment—to ensure trust and satisfaction for our newest customers. - You will ensure that your team develops simple, maintainable solutions and ensure that you are managing technical risks & protecting the business.
What We Look For
- You have over 8 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 in a people management role.
- You have managed all aspects of the talent lifecycle for your team — recruiting, growth, and performance management.
- You can point to specific examples of business impact that you were able to deliver through your team.
- You have experience developing strategy and influencing stakeholders beyond your team’s scope.
- You have developed major new features or systems, or overseen a significant technical change with significant contribution from your team.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration with our global engineering team.
Base Pay Grade - P
Equity Grade - Poland 5
Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).
POL base pay range per year: 358,000 zł - 458,000 zł
