Role
Aman at Sea is looking for a highly capable Manager of Shore Side IT Operations to oversee critical applications and infrastructure that power our global shore-based systems. This role ensures technology alignment with operational needs across finance, procurement, HR, and port operations, and plays a key role in supporting the guest journey from behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all shore-side application administration, support, and development.
  • Ensure reliability and security across financial, procurement, HR, and itinerary systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT solutions with operational objectives.
  • Lead inventory systems supporting guest experiences (air, hotel, transfers).
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
  • Define and enforce IT governance, compliance, and security standards.
  • Monitor application performance and optimise incident response.
  • Support integration development and innovation.
  • Plan and implement disaster recovery and back-up procedures.
  • Track IT budgets, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; master’s degree and PPM certification a plus.
  • 10+ years’ experience leading IT teams and operations.
  • Strong technical background in application support, development, and database management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SQL, Agile/SCRUM methodology, and SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to drive performance improvements and system enhancements.
  • Excellent communication, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Collaborative, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Flexibility for extended hours during peak periods and willingness to travel when needed.
