The Role
We’re hiring our first Manager, Total Rewards to build and operationalize Eve’s compensation, benefits, and equity programs. You’ll partner closely with People Ops, Finance, and Recruiting to create the structure and clarity that help us attract, retain, and reward world-class talent. This is a hands-on builder role — ideal for someone who loves turning spreadsheets and data into systems that employees and leaders trust.
What You Will Accomplish
- Finalize Eve’s compensation philosophy and job-level framework with the Head of People.
- Benchmark all roles using market data (Pave, Radford or similar) and build salary bands across functions.
- Conduct a baseline pay-equity audit and deliver recommendations.Support equity administration (Carta, grant tracking, audit prep) and create employee-friendly equity resources.
- Launch Eve’s first company-wide compensation review cycle with clear calibration tools and manager enablement.
- Deliver the first Total Rewards Statement to all employees.
- Maintain high-accuracy compensation data in HRIS and deliver quarterly insights to leadership.
- Establish a market benchmarking cadence and present data-driven recommendations for adjustments.
- Achieve ≥80% employee understanding of total rewards value (survey).
What You'll Bring
- You have built a compensation philosophy and infrastructure from scratch.
- Owned equity distribution, cap tables and refresh programs.
- 4–6 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or HR analytics within a high-growth SaaS or tech environment.
- Hands-on with benchmarking tools (Pave, Radford, Option Impact) and strong Excel/Sheets modeling skills.
- Demonstrated success implementing compensation bands or supporting annual review cycles.
- Excellent communication skills — able to make complex compensation concepts simple and human.
- High integrity and discretion handling confidential data.
- Experience partnering with Finance on headcount or budget planning.
- Benefits program design or vendor-negotiation exposure.
- HRIS configuration or data-governance experience.
