Job Title:   Manager, Sales Force Effectiveness

Location:   Remote

Description

The Manager, Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) will be a key member of the Galderma Commercial Operations SFE team, reporting to the Director of SFE Operations.  This Position will use analytical, financial and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and measure field performance and behaviors at the customer level.  This position will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining interactive and insightful dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.  This role requires a deep understanding of data visualization principles, proficiency in Tableau and Power BI, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective visual solutions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Owner of holistic Sales Force Effectiveness insights reporting, inclusive of call plan, quota and target segmentation related KPIs and metrics. Collaborate with Incentive Compensation and Customer Engagement teams for cross-platform actionable intelligence.

  • Lead the design and on-going administration of SFE operational frameworks, ensuring a comprehensive and cohesive feedback loop between the field, total market, customer, and home office stakeholders.

  • Optimize Field Territory Mapping & Sizing; Targeting & Segmentation coupled with Call Cycle Planning.

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau to visualize complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

  • Connect to various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets and cloud services to gather and integrate data for reporting.

  • Advise senior leadership of potential compliance risks and recommend appropriate action plans

  • Coordinates with all levels of Sales and Marketing teams as well as vendors to gather, analyze, summarize, prepare and present recommendations and solutions regarding sales results, business plans, and trended future requirements

  • Collaborates with all internal teams to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and workflow improvement/automation

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required, Master's degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in Commercial Operations progressive experience inclusive of SFE Analytics, within a corporate environment is required, direct pharmaceutical manufacturer experience required and/or supply chain management, preferred

  • Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau, including DAX and Power Query

  • Advanced Excel skills required (advanced lookup functions, pivot-tables, and data management).

  • Experience with SQL and database management

  • Analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly evolving workplace

  • Track record of creating scalable process improvements

  • 10% travel to regional and national meetings
