The Manager of Rev Ops/Yield will be a yield expert that analyzes patterns and makes data-driven decisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the escalation point for troubleshooting, testing, and implementation of ad operations
- Manage 3rd party vendor relationship including checking in on completed tasks and duties ensuring work has been completed within the timeline given
- Assist in development and maintenance of our publisher network and maintain the effectiveness of the revenue generation throughout the network.
- Help to oversee day-to-day optimizations of sites and demand stack around performance.
- Lead the team in finding all inaccuracies in revenue, impressions, clicks and other KPI metrics where possible and fix them in a timely manner
- Assist in the evaluation of new technologies, and testing those on the sites.
- Help to develop means to streamline process flow
- Stay current and aware of changes and updates in ad server and proprietary tracking software and help communicate to necessary teams
- Correctly traffic ad tags to vendors in a timely manner.
- Provide ongoing status of experiments and implementation to the appropriate teams
- Participate in and oversee in the QA process Interface regularly with partners; resolve issues that arise including reporting discrepancies, creative policing, trafficking requirements
- Manage Documentation of protocols associated with the team and proper workflows
- Manage staff productivity and allocation of resources in collaboration with the CRO/CMO, Digital Ad Operations, to ensure company goals are met.
- Liaises with finance where needed on invoicing and new business Manage staff performance to meet or exceed internal expectations.
- Develop, motivate and train Digital Ad Operations Associate and Specialist team members as appropriate
- Participate in Corporate projects as assigned
- Create and manage Private Marketplaces (PMPs) and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Digital Media/ ad tech space preferably with a major SSP / DSP or large-scale publisher/channel partner
- 2+ managing Customer Success and/ or Ad Operations teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Highly proficient in Excel / Google sheets
- Expert in GAM (google ad manager), GTM, GA and other Google products
- Previous experience working with supply side platforms, ad servers, data management platforms and other tech partners. DSP / SSP/ EXCHANGES (AOL, Google, Index etc.)
- Deep understanding of ad monetization at scale, including both demand & supply side, programmatic (Header Bidding, PMP, SSP, DSP, RTB, Video, Native etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage a small global remote team in different time zones
- Exceptional understanding of ad systems and technologies including Operative 1, Salesforce, Google Ad Manager, Ad-Juster, FreeWheel, DBM,, MOAT, IAS and all other
- Expertise in training various ad operations disciplines and concepts
- Understanding of Google data studio and Analytics in depth.
- Strong knowledge of campaign lifecycle management, ad sales process, trafficking, QA, performance analytics/reporting

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using Asana, Jira, and slack
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to quickly master new productivity software application tools
- Proven self-starter, with ability to drive initiatives and end goals
