Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor the Canadian access environment for all changes, updates and initiatives, including but not limited to, insurers, adjudicators, employers provincial payers, union contracts pharmacies, competitors etc.
- Sharing market access information for the internal stakeholder groups including but not limited to programs, stakeholder relations, pharmacy etc.
- This will include information such as newsletters, monthly updates, policy manual reviews, drug trend reports etc.
- Review all policy documents related to reimbursement and access from public and private payers to ensure alignment.
- Act as the SME for all public and private digital tools, including apps, websites and portals.
- Responsible for monitoring and organizing Reimbursement News, Private and Public Payer Cheat Sheets
- Passing on competitive information to the appropriate internal stakeholder (HealthForward, NBD, Consulting etc.)
- Implement and/or assist with regular meetings with Programs' Reimbursement Specialists and
- Reimbursement Managers to ensure the consistent sharing of "Best Practices".
- Identify processes which can be streamlined in managing reimbursement, and develop approaches to address, based on input from the Reimbursement Specialists and/or Reimbursement Managers
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- 2+ years in a PSP environment
- Deep expertise in Canadian public and private payer environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
- Superior organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- Excellent presentation skills
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and other Office Programs
- Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms
