About the Role:
We seek a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and quality of our data center operations. This key role will develop and implement quality processes, conduct audits, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data center operations, quality management principles, and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality processes, procedures and policies for data center operations, including RMA processes and MRB inventory management.
- Accountable for establishing and maintaining the document control system and related internal training program to deploy new quality processes across the operation.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the QMS software for all related quality activity.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of data center operations to identify areas for improvement and execute action.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with quality processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze data on data center performance, quality, and reliability. Identify trends, opportunities, and root causes of issues.
- Collaborate with DC Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and other teams to implement CAPA to eliminate quality risks through problem solving methods (8Ds, A3, etc.) and identify areas of opportunity to continuously improve performance.
- Stay up to date with industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in data center operations.
- Directly participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a robust QMS aligned with industry regulations and best practices.
- Prepare and present reports on data center quality activities and performance metrics.
- Manage a team of MRB coordinators to process all vendor RMAs and control MRB inventory.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality role.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and tools.
- Strong knowledge of data center industry and operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, QMS software and ERP systems (Netsuite preferred).
- Experience with lean principles is a plus.
- Experience in the High Performance Compute sector is a plus.
- Travel 25-50%
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,000-$191,000 Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Our Workplace
While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets.
