Overview
The Global Services Marketing organization is accountable for providing subject matter expertise and product marketing thought leadership across Mastercard Services product lines.
The Manager, Product Marketing will focus on our Chargeback and Dispute Prevention solutions, providing product marketing support to help drive established business strategy and goals with a focus on a fraud prevention buyer audience.
As the Manager, Product Marketing, you will support strategic marketing planning, lead-generation and awareness building activities with a focus on helping the broader Services Marketing team execute marketing activities that support organizational objectives.
You will be responsible for contributing to the development of marketing plans including content development and execution, with a focus on ensuring product marketing messaging resonates with prospective customers.
As a key member of the team, you will partner cross-functionally and cascade relevant marketing strategy and messaging to global and regional teams ensuring consistent messaging across the board.
The Role
You will have demonstrated success in the following areas:
• Strategic Planning: Participate in the development of integrated strategic product marketing plans that are designed to achieve lead-gen and/or awareness targets. This includes integrated plan development and tactical execution.
• Content Development: Lead development of key product marketing assets including product collateral, messaging guides, white papers, blog posts, research articles, video scripts, web site copy, and social media posts.
• Digital: Participate in development of digital marketing plans (website & social) that are designed to support awareness and lead generation goals.
• Product Messaging: Craft and recommend product value propositions that are crisp, competitively differentiated and target market specific. Consideration of market dynamics/ ecosystem, buyer needs, and competitive landscape required.
• Reporting & Tracking: Work with broader marketing team to update tracking tools, manage content calendars and support internal reporting activities and ad hoc requests. This includes understanding data and critically evaluating and challenging assumptions.
• Internal enablement: Own product positioning and narratives driving consistency and sharing messaging among teams. This includes managing materials/assets and partnering with Global IMC B2B & Product Marketing, product, sales and regional teams to ensure the most current information is being leveraged.
All About You
• Experience in Product or B2B marketing; understanding of B2B and B2B2C marketing principles • Knowledge of the payments and/or chargeback process and how it works is considered an asset. • Strong written and oral communications skills, and attention to details • Experience developing marketing plans informed by strategy and critical thinking. • Experience executing a product marketing campaign and measuring programs to assess success and recommend changes • Experience developing and testing plans, concepts, and positioning for product prototypes • Experience leveraging multiple sources of data to identify insights and develop agency briefs, assess creative content across channels, and deliver sales and marketing materials • Experience developing integrated marketing plans that include online/digital demand generation, including email marketing, and social media. • Knowledge of payments industry is beneficial. • Creative thinker, yet data driven professional with great comfort evaluating data points. • Collaborative problem solver who operates with a sense of urgency • Team player - ability to multitask, manage ambiguity and thrives in a fast-paced environment
