The Opportunity

At UserTesting, product managers play a critical role in shaping the future of our platform and delivering solutions that create measurable value for our customers and business. We are looking for a Manager of Product Management to lead a team of talented product managers and drive strategy, execution, and team performance across one or more product domains.

In this role, you’ll pair strong product instincts with leadership experience to guide both the why and the how of product delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with design, engineering, customer success, marketing, and business stakeholders to ensure the right problems are solved—and solved well.

If you’re passionate about empowering teams, solving complex customer problems, and turning strategy into meaningful outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.

The Team

You’ll join a globally distributed product team, with colleagues across Vancouver, Edinburgh, London, Barcelona, and Paris. While many of us enjoy time together in local offices, remote work is fully supported.

We work closely with engineers, designers, data scientists, and UX writers to build the trusted platform that 3,400+ companies use to uncover human insights. We’re collaborative, kind, and deeply user-focused—and we believe that diverse perspectives and inclusive environments lead to better ideas and better products.

What you’ll be doing

  • Driving product strategy and portfolio execution. Set vision and direction for a portfolio of products or domains, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer needs.

  • Raising the bar on product practices. Champion consistent, data-informed decision-making and scalable product development processes across your team.

  • Strengthening cross-functional alignment. Serve as a connective tissue between teams—ensuring communication is clear, feedback loops are tight, and everyone is focused on delivering the highest impact work.

  • Leading a high-performing product team. Coach, mentor, and manage a group of product managers, helping them grow their skills and deliver on key business and customer outcomes.

  • Delivering measurable impact. Ensure your team’s work leads to real results—whether it’s improving retention, driving revenue, reducing cost, or enhancing customer satisfaction.

  • Scaling through systems. Introduce structures and frameworks that enable your team to work autonomously, with clarity and focus.

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing or mentoring product managers.

  • Demonstrated success leading product teams in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.

  • Skilled at influencing and collaborating with stakeholders across product, design, engineering, go-to-market, and executive leadership.

  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities to align teams around complex ideas.

  • Deep experience with customer-centric discovery, hypothesis-driven development, and outcome-based measurement.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern product management tools

  • Experience in SaaS or B2B software preferred.

UserTesting is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a participant in the U.S. Federal E-Verify program.  Women, minorities, individuals with disabilities and protected veterans are encouraged to apply.  We welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.  UserTesting will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, as applicable.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
