About the role
This role will support the Director of Procurement across all marketing and communications categories including but not limited to creative, media, PR, and MarTech for all of Wonder Group (Wonder, Blue Apron, Grubhub and Tastemade). You will help evaluate, negotiate, set strategies and provide insights on the company’s marketing spend footprint. You will work directly with key stakeholders within the Growth, Brand and Communications groups to achieve successful outcomes within our marketing and communication supplier negotiations, and support consolidation or expansion where appropriate. You will have the bird’s eye view of our entire Marketing and Communications profile and will help ensure we as a holistic organization are driving towards the same goals.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Marketing Procurement Category, including Brand, Growth, and Public Relations, and Corporate Communications, to drive Procurement analytics, strategy, and agency negotiations
Serve as a trusted business advisor to Wonder Group’s marketing stakeholders, providing best-in-class marketing sourcing & procurement consulting
Use data analytics, industry benchmarking and strategic sourcing methodologies to develop and execute sourcing strategies, business strategies and change management programs to stakeholders
Support the development, negotiation, and purchasing of high impact sourcing projects and initiatives ensuring alignment with the overall priorities and objectives of Wonder Group and its Marketing business stakeholders
Self manage workload and appropriately communicate opportunities and challenges to your Leader
Provide regular communication to leadership on project status, contract renewals, category performance, and various initiatives
Evaluate and drive towards recommendation on outside benchmarking solutions to support negotiations
Provide strategic inputs on supplier trends and standards across the industry
Collaborate with Legal, Cyber Security and Corporate IT on AI topics and standards
Identify gaps in resourcing, knowledge, process, policy, etc. and provide recommendations
The experience you have
5+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement and Marketing specific negotiations
Must have experience within a multi-entity and/or fast-paced environment
Bachelors degree required - in related field
Base Salary: $128,000 - $143,000
