Job Duties and Responsibilities
This role sits within the Network Data & Analytics (ND&A) team, which serves as the intelligence layer connecting data sources and business users to drive decisions that enhance network quality. The team analyzes data across Network, Finance, Legal, and more to optimize resources and improve the Wireless experience for subscribers and enterprises.
We are seeking a Manager - Network Analytics & Insights to lead a global team of analysts, engineers, and scientists. This leader will enhance data management strategies and drive the use of data modeling and machine learning to support network development, deployment, and quality improvements in a financially responsible way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business teams, engineers, and architects to design data products that simplify stakeholder access and use of data.
- Deliver actionable insights and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance Network Quality and overall business performance.
- Build and operationalize end-to-end machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions.
- Lead a global team of analysts and data scientists focused on reporting, visualization, AI, and ML.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to understand and address diverse business needs.
- Manage team performance through SMART goals and foster an Agile delivery mindset.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Master's in a quantitative field or Bachelor's with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years managing teams of 5+ and leading cross-functional data science/analytics projects.
- Hands-on experience with EDA, ML, MLOps, and deployment using tools like SageMaker, Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Strong ability to translate business KPIs into technical requirements; Product Owner/Manager experience is a plus.
- Proven leadership in enterprise strategy, stakeholder engagement, and delivering data-driven business outcomes.
- Experience executing AI/ML roadmaps, working in Agile environments, and familiarity with telecom and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in ML and Deep Learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI, and LangChain.
- Skilled in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, and Adobe Analytics.
- Strong experience with data tech stacks including AWS, Spark, Hadoop, SQL, Athena, Redshift, and Snowflake.
- Advanced ability to write complex SQL queries efficiently.
- Keeps current with data science trends and provides strategic guidance on their application.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year
