KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for providing world class operational support across Bain Capital – Capital Markets business units
• Lead all operational aspects of the Security Master File and corresponding security reference data, with primary focus on asset set up & reference data scrubs to external vendors for the Credit and Insurance Solutions businesses across multiple investment strategies and asset classes: not limited to, syndicated bank loans, private credit, bonds, mortgage backed securities, asset backed securities, and collateralized loan obligations.
• Overseeing and managing the day-to-day support of the business’ data requirements ensuring timely, accurate, and reliable completion of all deliverables
• Build, manage and enhance relationships with internal clients and external partners, including Front Office, Investor Relations, Data Governance, Finance, and Information Technology.
• Develop, modify and manage workflows and procedures designed to increase controls and improve efficiency regarding the Security Master File and corresponding reference data
• Lead root cause analysis of data quality issues related to specific investment strategies and assets.
• Collaborate with Information Technology on go forward development and enhancement of the Security Master File
• Candid and transparent communication with colleagues and management team

DESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATION

• 5 - 10 years of experience in a complex financial services industry
• Prior experience supporting security reference data required
• BS or BA with finance and accounting basics
• Experience with Bloomberg
• Familiarity with legal documents and credit agreements
• Experience in Advent Geneva preferred
