Department Overview
McDonald's Global Technology Commercial Product & Platform is seeking a highly motivated, and experienced manager to join the Martech Enablement team. This team builds the future of our marketing personalization around our mobile application, and the manager will play a pivotal role in leading the realization of our goals. The Manager Tech Lead (TL) will be responsible for technical solutioning, development, and deployment of products within the Martech Enablement Team. The TL partners with our global product team to define and deliver the associated technical products and solutions using a mix of internal and external (vendor) resources and products. The Manager Tech Lead (TL) is responsible for managing the team leading the development of marketing automations & campaigns as well as provide subject matter expertise and lead the architecture of new data streams as prioritized by our product roadmap.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Demonstrated experience managing a team executing the following:
Develop marketing automation workflows focused on marketing communications & experience personalization such as push notifications, emails, and mobile app personalized experiences
Ideate customer segmentation to support Marketing Automation based on knowledge of pre-existing data structures
Translate business requests for marketing capabilities, into clear technical requirements that include data properties needed for executing marketing automations
Technical requirement solicitation and documentation skills to effectively capture and communicate marketing automation solutions/initiatives to key stakeholders
Ensure that all technical work aligns with the business objectives and marketing strategies
Triage issues and defects - capturing, prioritizing and remediating for marketing automations
Qualifications
Required candidates should have demonstrated management experience levels of 5+ years in the following areas:
Hands on experience with modern marketing automation & personalization SaaS tools: SF Marketing Cloud, Braze, Marketo, Hubspot, or similar marketing automation tools
Understanding of modern CDP tools such as Segment, mParticle, and Tealium
Experience in implementing marketing automation elements such as segments, audiences, and decision-splits
Keen understanding of marketing automation concepts and design principles - proven ability to understand how structured data can be translated into marketing segments and other automations that provide personalized experiences/communications to customers
Demonstrated front-end development skills specific to marketing automation. Proficiency in templating languages such as Liquid, Jinja, Handlebars or similar languages
Extensive experience in working with key data interchange formats including JSON and XML, demonstrating a strong ability to integrate, manipulate, and manage complex data structures across diverse systems and applications

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $129,800.00 - $165,490.00 per year
