Job Description

Manager, Marketing Strategy

As Global Marketing Strategy Manager, you will support the execution of global marketing priorities by translating established strategies into actionable programs, tools, and assets that enable consistent adoption across markets and categories. Working in close collaboration with cross‑functional and regional teams, you will help operationalize strategy, strengthen value‑based communication, and support data‑driven decision‑making.

Your role:

  • ​ Translate the global marketing strategy into actionable toolkits, frameworks, and communication assets to support consistent execution across regions, markets, and categories. Work with regional teams to support adoption, training, and continuous improvement of marketing and value programs, incorporating feedback to refine tools, processes, and content.
  • Support strategy updates by gathering and consolidating cross‑functional inputs, synthesizing trends and insights, and assisting in preparation of executive‑ready materials to support leadership reviews and alignment.
  • Support execution of the claims program by contributing to the development, rollout, and ongoing maintenance of the unified claims framework (“5 Promises”) and the consolidated claims roadmap. Partner with medical, pricing, analytics, and clinical evidence teams to track substantiation progress and maintain required documentation. Support the creation and maintenance of value demonstration tools (e.g., impact or value models) and ensure market‑ready packaging of value communication assets for use by commercial and marketing teams.
  • Evaluate and support growth opportunities, commercial models, and engagement strategies through market sizing, segmentation, and analysis of customer, market, and key opinion leader (KOL) insights.
  • Support development of event strategy narratives, messaging, and content for global events (e.g., HIMSS), coordinating cross‑functional storytelling inputs to ensure alignment with enterprise themes and customer decision journeys.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 4 + years of experience in B2B medical device marketing, product marketing, strategy, campaign management, or similar roles, with demonstrated effectiveness in cross‑functional environments. Experience in hospital or ambulatory patient monitoring markets, products, and customer environments as well as working with claims and evidence, opportunity evaluation, value‑based selling, and strategic planning, preferred.
  • Your skills include strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into compelling narratives and operationalize strategy into practical outputs, Veeva PromoMats, PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create executive‑ready materials.
  • You have a Master’s degree, required in Marketing, Business, Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You possess a continuous improvement mindset, with independent, outcome‑driven strategic thinking and a bias for action and must be willing to travel up to 25%.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $110,000 to $174,720.

The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is $98,000 to $156,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.   

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here. 

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA or Nashville, TN.
